Planted in the clay-schist and sand soils, with low production potential, the Vicentino’s grapes bear their best attributes.
It is a bend wine, made with the Portguese grape variety Arinto and the well renowned Chardonnay.
Arinto and Chardonnay.
Hand picking. Whole-bunch pressing. Fermentation occurred in French oak barrels (Chardonnay) and in stainless steel (Arinto), in equal parts (50% each grape variety).
Ageing occurred part in oak barrels, part in stainless steel, during 8 months.
Yellow-greenish colour. Citric notes and minerality, showing some hints od buttery aromas. The palate is engaging with vibrant acidity. It presents very long, persistent saline finish.
