Grape Varieties: Arinto, Alvarinho, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Viosinho
Soil: Planted in clay-schist and sandy soils with low yield potential, Vicentino’s grapes express their finest qualities. This blend is made from Portuguese varieties (Arinto, Alvarinho and Viosinho) and French varieties (Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc), sourced exclusively from our own vineyards.
Fermentation and Ageing: Hand-harvested grapes. Selection at the winery followed by pressing. Each variety was fermented separately in stainless steel tanks for three weeks.
The wine remained in contact with the lees for seven months after fermentation, followed by the final blend in May 2021.
Tasting Notes:Greenish-yellow colour. Elegant aromas of citrus fruits with notes of asparagus and green bell pepper. The palate is very fresh, vibrant and mineral, finishing with a saline touch.
Food Pairing & Service: Pairs very well with fish roe salad, grilled sea bass, shrimp curry, seafood or fish rice. Also excellent with spicy Asian cuisine.
We recommend serving at around 8°C.
